Stand out from the AI fraudsters

Recruiters know that fraudsters use AI scams to target remote roles. A PinpointVerify certificate may give them the extra confidence needed to move your application forward in their hiring process. When you show your verification it sends a signal that you're a real person who can be trusted.

Give employers confidence that you are who you say you are.

A PinpointVerify certificate is proof that your name and location were verified in person by a state-licensed notary. You meet a state-licensed notary in person, show a government-issued ID, and sign a notarized document. It's one thing an AI avatar can't fake.

Get verifiable proof of your location

Many employment scams originate from overseas. PinpointVerify uses the notary and document shipping origin to provide employers with two ways of verifying your location.

How It Works

Verified in four steps.

1. Sign up and pay

Create an account, enter your name and address, and pay the one-time fee. No subscription, no employer needed, you can get verified on your own.

2. Meet a notary near you

We assign a state-licensed notary close to your address. Bring a government-issued ID, it takes about 15 minutes. We handle the shipping; you pay only a small notary fee in person.

3. Get your certificate

Once we receive and confirm your document, you receive a PinpointVerify certificate verifying your name and location, valid for one year.

4. Share it with employers

Get a shareable link and QR code to put on your resume or send to a hiring team. They see your verification, no account required, and you stand out from unverified candidates.

What you get

  • PinpointVerify certificate. Proves physical presence, valid for one year
  • Digital copy of your notarized verification document
  • A shareable certificate, link, and QR code for your resume

FAQ

Frequently Asked

What’s the benefit of a PinpointVerify certificate?

We verify your physical presence — that your name matches your government-issued ID and that you appeared, in person, before a state-licensed notary at a specific place and time. It gives hiring teams confidence that you're a real person who lives where you say you do.

Can I use a notary outside your network?

No. We assign a notary in a designated shipping location to save you time. PinpointVerify also acts as a neutral third party — choosing the notary for you keeps your verification independent and trustworthy.

The notary wasn’t available during business hours. What do I do?

Always call ahead to confirm the notary's hours before you go. If you can't complete your appointment at the assigned location, email support@pinpointverify.com and we'll help you find another notary location.

How long does it take?

Printing, notarization, and drop-off usually take 15–30 minutes. Once we receive your document, we verify and upload it as soon as possible.

When do I receive my certificate?

As soon as we receive your notarized document, verify it, and upload it, your certificate appears in your dashboard — and we'll email you to let you know.

How long is my certificate valid for?

Your certificate is valid for one year from the date it's issued. After that it expires, and you can re-verify at a discounted rate to get a fresh one.

What if I don’t live in the USA?

We are not yet offering service outside the USA. To request service in Canada or Mexico, reach out to sales@pinpointverify.com.
